01/26/2024 - Out of hours maintenance 1pm EST <1h30m maintenance.

This maintenance is a temporary permanent fix for my ISP issues. They will be literally removing my Adtran ONT Modem and wire the internet directly into my Ubiquiti Dream Machine SE Router. Normally they don't do this, this is a business class feature, but they're unable to pinpoint why there are issues with my router and their Adtran and in the testing they've done, bypassing it all together seems to resolve the internet issues. Now I've advocated for this from the beginning but told it was extremely expensive plus involves their SFP being used instead of the ones I have. Again, since I've been having so many issues, they're providing these "free of charge" I say this because they don't want to, but they don't have any other options to keep my internet up at this time. As I've advocated "if this were to work to keep it permanently" they said "maybe" haha, doubtful, as while I'm using this method, they're still testing the Adtran ONT and DM SE in their own labs trying to get this to work better as well. That being said, if they were to get it working, I may be forced back on the new working of the old again. (Hence being a temporary, permanent fix.) They explained they'd be to my house around 1pm. I have prepped everything, so there should be very little downtime for this event. This is more to be aware of it. Edit: Update they're running late this may, be beginning later than 1pm. Edit: Please refrain from using Plex from 1pm to 2:30PM EST. Your viewing experience will not be fun. Edit: My services are official up. I've been set up with an ONT of a stick, and I’m on the bleeding edge of what they provide. The fiber now goes directly into my router. The internet stability "should" but much better going forward.
